Jamie Oliver Recipease Class #1: Filled Pasta.

Seeing as though it was my lovely sisters birthday on the 12th of April we wanted to do something fun and special so decided to go ahead and book our third Jamie Oliver Recipease Class in Clapham Junction together. We have already done 'Filled Pasta' and 'Mince Pie's' so this time we decided to go with the yummy Perfect Puds class.
I was looking through all my old photos today and realised I have never shared my photos of the previous two Recipease Classes we did so here is the first class we did.

Dinner in 'the Church', Stoke on Trent.

Back in January my boyfriend Jai and I decided to do a nice little day trip from Liverpool to Stoke as we had never been there before.
My bf had heard about a nice little restaurant in Stoke called the Church so we did a little research about it and ended up being really keen to go out there and have dinner.
The restaurant was only a short 5 minute walk from the town centre and much to our delight it was really beautiful inside and had really great food.

Cocktails in an old Hydraulic Power Station.

If you know me well, you'll know that I love all things quirky and strange. I am obsessed with old, shabby, abandoned buildings so when I found out there was an old power station in London that has been converted into a restaurant I was desperate to go there.
My bf and I went into London and caught the tube to Wapping to go to the restaurant. Once we entered it definitely lived up to its expectations. The huge area was filled completely with old equipment from the power station along with modern white plastic tables and chairs, all which had large white candles sitting on top.

Bangers and Cheesy Mustard Mash.

The other night I was home alone and was tempted to just have something quick and easy like toast, but thought i'd make a little more effort and make some bangers and mash which turned out to be super easy and quick anyway.
I had some things to get rid of in the fridge and pantry so decided to make a rustic cheesy mustard mash so I didn't have to waste any food.

It turned out really nice, but quite rich so I didn't actually need to make as much as I did. It is definitely not one of the healthiest mash recipes but great if you need some comfort food once in a while :)
I'll put the recipe below.

Chicken, Mushroom and Leek Stroganoff.

A couple weeks ago I was really hanging out to try and make a stroganoff for the very first time. My mum made a delicious one for me quite a while ago which involved coating beef in paprika and flower then adding tomato paste as well as some various other things, but in the end I decided to try a chicken stroganoff as I had two chicken breasts sitting in the fridge waiting to be used. I was inspired by a recipe for Chicken, Mushroom & Leek Stroganoff in Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food cookbook but changed it around a little to make it my own.

I'll put the recipe underneath the cut :)
